Pina Colada with Matcha Tea

Japanese matcha green tea, in addition to hot drinks, is perfect for desserts and cocktails. For example, its herbal notes will complement the tropical flavor of a piña colada. Blend all ingredients together with frozen pineapple and ice in a blender and enjoy.


Ingredients:

  • 120 ml of sweet coconut milk drink
  • 0.5 cups frozen pineapple
  • 0.5 cups of ice
  • 20 ml of golden rum
  • 20 ml coconut rum
  • 20 ml. agave syrup
  • 3/4 tsp matcha powder
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

    Step 1
  • In a blender, combine 120 ml of sweet coconut milk drink, 0.5 cups each of frozen pineapple and ice, 20 ml each of golden rum and coconut rum, 20 ml of agave syrup, and 3/4 teaspoon of matcha powder. Pour into a large glass.
