This is a popular Hawaiian cocktail based on the Pina Colada. This recipe calls for thawed and sliced ​​strawberries. When you get them from the store, place them on a plate in the refrigerator until they soften and are ready to handle. The defrosting juices and moisture will remain on the plate. This cocktail can be made non-alcoholic for children, or you can add alcohol for older children.


Ingredients:

  • 2 cups frozen sliced ​​strawberries with juice (defrosted first)
  • 2 cans of coconut milk-based Pina Colada cocktail mix
  • 2 tbsp. pineapple juice
  • 6 shots (260 ml) coconut rum or light rum
    *for a non-alcoholic cocktail, omit the rum and add a few more shots filled with ice cubes
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

    Step 1
  • In a blender on high speed, puree the strawberries until smooth. Place 1/2 cup of strawberry puree in the bottom of 4 cocktail glasses (Hurricane or Double Rocks).

    Rinse the blender jug ​​and return it to the base. Place the remaining ingredients in the blender and blend on high speed until smooth. Pour the piña colada into glasses over the strawberry puree. The puree will flow through the cocktail, creating a lava-like effect.
