Lynchburg Lemonade takes its name from Lynchburg, Tennessee, the birthplace of Jack Daniel's whiskey. It's one of the most popular Tennessee whiskey-based cocktails. There's something magical about the smoky sweetness of Jack Daniel's against the citrusy tartness of the drink. Lynchburg Lemonade is perfect for a summer backyard barbecue.


Ingredients:

  • 130 ml. Jack Daniels whiskey
  • 45 ml Triple Sec
  • 20 ml freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 180 ml sour mix
  • 3 slices of orange and/or lemon
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Preparation:

    Step 1
  • Combine whiskey, triple sec, orange juice and sour in a shaker with ice; shake well.
  • Step 2
  • Strain into a large fishbowl glass filled with ice and add orange and/or lemon wedges. Serve with straws.
