Gentleman Jack Tennessee whiskey adds a solid, masculine character to this lemonade. The cocktail also includes fresh lemon, club soda, triple sec orange liqueur, and simple syrup. The simple syrup gives the drink a soft, pleasant flavor, making it a favorite among women. Tennessee lemonade is a milder version of the popular American cocktail, Lynchburg lemonade, made with Jack Daniels whiskey.


Ingredients:

  • 60 ml sugar syrup (60 ml water and 55 g sugar)
  • 2 medium lemon slices + extra for serving
  • 45 ml Gentleman Jack corn whiskey
  • Ice
  • 30 ml. triple sec or Cointreau liqueur
  • A little sparkling water
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Preparation:

    Step 1
  • In a small saucepan, heat the sugar and water over high heat and bring to a boil. Turn off the heat and let the syrup cool. In a cocktail glass, mash the lemon, add the whiskey, simple syrup, ice, and triple sec.
  • Step 2
  • Shake well and strain into a tall glass, topping it with sparkling water. Top with a squeeze of lemon juice.
