If you're a fan of the frozen Margarita, you'll definitely love this lime-flavored granita. Combine the main ingredients (tequila, lime juice, triple sec), add simple syrup, a pinch of salt, and freeze. Scrape the granita out of the mold with a fork and serve it in Margarita-themed bowls.

Recipe:


Bring 1 cup sugar and 2.5 cups water to a boil. Stir constantly until the sugar dissolves, then remove the syrup from the heat and add 2/3 cup lime juice, 1/3 cup tequila, 5 tablespoons triple sec, and 1/4 teaspoon salt. Cool and stir in 2 teaspoons lime zest.

Then pour into a small glass baking dish, cover, and freeze for 4 hours. For a more intense effect, dip the rims of the serving bowls in a mixture of salt, sugar, and lime zest. Garnish with lime wedges.
