Transform the traditional Margarita into a more fun and vibrant drink by adding orange soda to its signature ingredients—tequila, freshly squeezed lime juice, and orange liqueur. Serve with plenty of ice and an orange wedge.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 45 ml silver tequila
  • 15 ml freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 15 ml orange liqueur
  • 90 ml chilled orange soda

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Combine 45 ml of silver tequila with 15 ml each of freshly squeezed lime juice and orange liqueur (such as Cointreau) in a shaker with ice; shake to chill.
  2. Strain into a short glass filled with ice. Top with 90 ml of chilled orange soda. Garnish with an orange slice.
