This apple pie-flavored alcoholic cocktail is delicious, but if you want to add a little sweetness, soak light-colored raisins in Calvados for 24 hours and use the infused spirit in the cocktail. Serve the plump, "boozy" raisins as an appetizer with the drink.
The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:
Cocktail
- 300 ml unfiltered apple cider (non-alcoholic), heated
- 120 ml Calvados (apple brandy)
- 60 ml sugar syrup, see recipe below
- 30 ml lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 6 drops of bitters
- Brown crystal sugar on a stick, for serving

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:
- Pre-soak a small package of golden raisins in Calvados for 24 hours. Use the Calvados to make a cocktail, and serve the raisins as an appetizer.
- In a teapot, combine apple cider, Calvados, simple syrup, lemon juice, cinnamon, and bitters. Stir thoroughly.
- Pour into teacups and garnish with a sugar stick. Serve with raisins.
Sugar syrup:
Combine 1 cup demerara sugar and 1 cup water in a small saucepan and bring to a boil. Cook, stirring, until the sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and let cool completely. Store in a sealed container in the refrigerator for up to 1 month.
