Punch is the most popular cocktail in the West, prepared in a huge bowl for a large crowd. The traditional rum punch recipe includes rum, lemon, fruit juice, and water. Add pomegranate juice and fresh berries to the cocktail, and it will sparkle with juicy summer colors and acquire a more vibrant flavor. To keep the drink chilled for a long time at a party, place a large block of ice in it. It will look even more impressive if you also add fresh berries to the water before freezing.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 5 cups of pomegranate juice
  • 3 cups lemonade
  • 1 bottle (0.75 l.) rum
  • 1 cup fresh berries, such as blueberries and raspberries
  • Lemon slices for decoration
  • Ice for serving

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Make an ice floe: Freeze water in a plastic container for at least 6 hours or overnight.
  2. In a large punch bowl, combine pomegranate juice, lemonade and rum. Before serving, add an ice cube to the bowl, stir well, and chill for at least 15 minutes. Garnish with berries and lemon wedges.

  3. Serve in punch glasses filled with ice.
