This cocktail differs from the traditional French martini in its more tart flavor. Its classic ingredients—vodka, pineapple juice, and Chambord raspberry liqueur—are enhanced with a splash of pomegranate and freshly squeezed lemon juice. The cocktail is prepared in a large pitcher and served very chilled. Garnish each serving with pomegranate seeds.


Ingredients:

  • 1.5 cups of vodka
  • 1 tbsp. pineapple juice
  • 2 tablespoons raspberry liqueur (such as Chambord)
  • 1 tbsp. pomegranate juice
  • 1 teaspoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • Pomegranate seeds, for decoration
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Preparation:

    Step 1
  • Combine vodka, pineapple juice, raspberry liqueur, pomegranate juice, and lemon juice in a pitcher. Refrigerate until ready to serve, at least 1 hour.
  • Step 2
  • Add 1 cup of ice to the pitcher and stir vigorously to chill and slightly dilute the cocktail. Pour into glasses and garnish with pomegranate seeds.
