Mix dry vermouth with grapefruit juice, adding a splash of tequila and bitters for a perfect cocktail for Sunday brunch or the end of a festive dinner. Serve in elegant martini glasses, garnishing the rim with colored sugar and a slice of candied grapefruit.

Ingredients:

  • 240 ml silver tequila
  • 120 ml pink grapefruit juice
  • 60 ml. dry vermouth
  • 10 drops of grapefruit bitters
  • A little freshly squeezed orange juice
  • Decorative sugar to decorate the rim of the glass
  • Candied grapefruit, for garnish
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

    Step 1
  • Combine tequila, grapefruit juice, vermouth, bitters, and orange juice in a shaker. Fill the shaker with ice and shake well.

  • Wet the rims of martini or coupe glasses with juice, then dip in decorative sugar to adhere.
