Tequila-infused watermelon cubes are skewered with lime wedges sprinkled with salt. This makes a delicious, heady party appetizer. It looks vibrant and stylish. To make this "boozy" watermelon, you first need to thoroughly infuse it with tequila. A hole is cut in the watermelon and a bottle of liquor is inserted upside down. Typically, the watermelon is left to soak overnight, but you may need more time. It all depends on the ripeness of the fruit. The riper your watermelon, the more crumbly its flesh will be, containing small cavities – spaces for infusing.
