These peaches in pineapple syrup with tequila are the perfect dessert for a grill party. Juicy and light, they'll sweeten your evening without the extra calories. Like all fruit desserts, they're a perfect accompaniment to grilled meat. You can make them a few hours in advance and let them sit in syrup until serving.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 2 tbsp. pineapple juice
  • 1 tbsp. honey
  • 1/4 cup anejo tequila
  • 110 g melted butter
  • 3 peaches, halved, pits removed
  • 2 cups frozen plain yogurt

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. In a medium saucepan, combine the pineapple juice and honey. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat and simmer until the juice thickens slightly, about 15 minutes.
  2. Add the tequila and continue cooking for another 2 minutes. Turn off the heat and set the syrup aside.

  3. Meanwhile, preheat a grill pan over medium-high heat. Brush each peach half with butter and grill, flat sides down, until heated through, about 4 minutes.
  4. Add the roasted peaches to the tequila syrup and let sit for 20 minutes before serving.
  5. Serve peaches with frozen yogurt and a drizzle of tequila syrup.
