Need a fun way to spice up your usual Bloody Mary recipe? Try swapping vodka for tequila or mezcal for a completely different (but no less delicious) flavor.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 4 cups tomato juice
  • 2 tbsp. l. grated horseradish
  • 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp ketchup
  • Juice of one lemon
  • 1/4 tsp hot sauce
  • A pinch of ground black pepper
  • 1 cup tequila
  • Lemon slices, celery leaves, for decoration

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Combine tomato juice, grated horseradish, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, lemon juice, hot sauce, ground black pepper, and tequila in a large pitcher and chill.
  2. Pour the cocktail into six glasses filled with ice. Garnish with lemon wedges and celery leaves.
