This fresh vegetable Bloody Mary is a true vitamin bomb. It's delicious and very healthy. If desired, you can add a splash of vodka and drink it like a full-fledged Bloody Mary. The ingredients listed are enough for four cocktails. Even non-drinkers will feel comfortable at your party! This cocktail (with or without vodka) will also help cure a hangover.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 5 ripe plum tomatoes or 'Bull's Heart', cut into 4 pieces
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 2 tsp seafood seasoning, such as Old Bay
  • 2 stalks of celery + extra for garnish
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 clove garlic, peeled
  • 1 shallot
  • Half an English cucumber
  • Half a lime
  • Half a green bell pepper
  • Worcestershire sauce
  • A little vodka, optional
  • Special equipment: juicer

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. In a large bowl, combine tomatoes, tomato paste, seafood seasoning, and a pinch each of salt and black pepper.
  2. Juice the celery, carrot, garlic, shallot, cucumber, lime, and green pepper and add to a bowl. Add a few drops of Worcestershire sauce. Pour into glasses and garnish with a celery stalk. Add a splash of vodka, if desired.
