This recipe features the perfect proportions of ingredients, making this cocktail a hit at any house party. For a large crowd, prepare a pitcher of tomato juice and serve it as needed among glasses filled with vodka and ice. This cocktail can be made ahead of time, so you can focus on the fun, and the flavor will be even better once it's steeped.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • Juice of 6 limes
  • 1 tbsp celery seeds
  • 3 tbsp. grated fresh or prepared horseradish
  • 2 liters of tomato juice, chilled
  • 2 tbsp hot sauce
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1.5 cups of pepper vodka, chilled in the freezer
  • Celery stalk, for serving
  • Cucumber sticks, for serving
  • A handful of fresh cilantro, for serving

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Combine lime juice, celery seeds, and horseradish in a pitcher. Mash the mixture with the handle of a wooden spoon to combine and crush the celery seeds. Pour in the tomato juice, hot sauce, and Worcestershire sauce; season with salt and pepper. Stir to combine.
  2. Pour the vodka into 6 tall, chilled glasses filled with ice. Fill the glasses with the Bloody Mary mixture, add a celery stick, a cucumber stick, and garnish with a sprig of cilantro. Stir the Bloody Mary well and serve.
