The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 450 g of carrots
  • 1/3 cup golden raisins
  • 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 3 tablespoons of sugar
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 1/3 cup fresh pineapple, diced

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Place the raisins in a small bowl and pour boiling water over them. Let sit for 5 minutes, then drain.
  2. Fit the grater attachment to a food processor. Cut the carrots in half and place them sideways in the feed tube. Grate the carrots in batches. Place the grated carrots in a medium bowl, add the lemon juice, and toss to combine.

  3. For the dressing, combine sour cream, mayonnaise, sugar, and salt. Pour the dressing over the carrots and add the pineapple and raisins. Stir and serve.
