    Step 1
  • Cut the bacon into small pieces, fry over medium heat until crispy, and place on a paper towel to absorb excess fat.

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the broccoli and blanch until slightly tender and bright green, about 3 minutes. Drain, rinse under cold water, and pat dry.
