Recipe for a side dish of boiled broccoli and sweet peppers with walnuts.


Ingredients:

  • 500 g broccoli florets
  • 1 red bell pepper, cut into thin rings
  • 2 tbsp. l. olive oil
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 2 cloves garlic, sliced
  • 2-4 red dried chili peppers, crushed in a mortar
  • Salt
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Preparation:

    Step 1
  • Cook broccoli and bell pepper rings in salted boiling water for 3 minutes; drain, then cool in a bowl of cold ice water and pat dry with paper towels.
  • Step 2
  • Heat olive oil in a large frying pan, add walnuts, garlic slices and dried crushed chili pepper, heat gently to release the aroma, 30 seconds. Add cooked broccoli and bell pepper, season with salt, and fry for about 2 minutes.
