Fried grapes with walnuts - a detailed recipe.


Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp (30 g) butter
  • 500 g seedless grapes
  • 3/4 cup walnuts
  • 2 tablespoons of sugar
  • 1 tbsp. honey
  • Juice of one lemon
  • A pinch of pepper
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Preparation:

    Step 1
  • Grease an ovenproof skillet or baking dish with butter, add the grapes and walnuts, and sprinkle with sugar. Bake in the oven at 250-260C (450-480F) for approximately 25 minutes.
  • Step 2
  • Strain the juice from roasting the grapes with walnuts into a saucepan using a colander. Place the saucepan with the strained juice on the stove, add honey, and simmer over low heat until the syrup begins to thicken, 6-7 minutes. Turn off the heat and add lemon juice and a pinch of pepper. Pour the syrup over the grapes.
  • Step 3
  • Serve as an appetizer with cheese.
