A delicious, light dessert made with grilled plums. The plums are halved, brushed with honey, and grilled until they're perfectly charred and caramelized. Serve them in bowls, topped with a delicious yogurt sauce with walnuts, honey, and cinnamon, whose spicy flavor is perfectly complemented by the refreshing citrus notes of orange. The sauce is made with thick, plain Greek yogurt. A perfect dessert for a summer barbecue.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


Fruits

  • 6 plums, halved and pitted
  • 2 tsp rapeseed oil
  • 1 tbsp. honey
  • A pinch of ground cinnamon
  • A pinch of finely grated orange zest
  • Spicy yogurt sauce with walnuts, recipe below

Spicy yogurt sauce with walnuts

  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp. honey
  • 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 1 tsp. grated orange zest
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped toasted walnuts

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Preheat the grill to high heat. Brush the plums with oil, drizzle with 1 tablespoon honey, and sprinkle with a pinch of cinnamon and orange zest. Place the plums, cut-side down, on the grill and grill for 2 minutes, or until golden brown and lightly caramelized. Flip and grill until heated through, about 1 minute more. Place 3 plum halves on each of four plates and top with a few tablespoons of the spiced nutty yogurt sauce.

    Combine all ingredients in a small bowl. Cover and refrigerate if not using immediately.
