Ingredients:

  • 450 g fresh cranberries
  • 1 cup chopped apples
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1 cup of water
  • 1/4 cup Grand Marnier liqueur
  • Juice of 1/2 orange
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Preparation:

    Step 1
  • Bring water and sugar to a boil in a large saucepan. Add cranberries and bring to a boil again, then reduce heat.

    Add the apples, walnuts, raisins, Grand Marnier, orange and lemon juice, cinnamon, and nutmeg, and simmer for 10-15 minutes. Remove from heat and let the sauce cool.
  • Step 2
  • Serve in a gravy boat with turkey or any holiday dish.
