Ingredients:

  • 500 g unpeeled beets, washed
  • 2 orange, peel, divide into slices
  • 1/3 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 1/4 cup chopped toasted walnuts
  • 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

    Step 1
  • Place the beets on a large piece of foil. Drizzle with a tablespoon of vegetable oil and 3 tablespoons of water, and wrap tightly. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (400°F) until softened, 50 minutes. After the time has elapsed, remove the beets, peel, and cut into half-moons.
