Baked carrots with walnuts - a detailed recipe.


Ingredients:

  • 8 carrots, cut into large strips
  • 1 red onion, diced
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 tbsp. l. nut butter
  • 1/8 tsp ground allspice
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1/4 cup raisins
  • Chopped parsley and dill
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Preparation:

    Step 1
  • Place the carrots on a baking sheet and toss with red onion, nut oil, allspice, and season with salt to taste. Preheat the oven to 220°C and bake for 10 minutes.
  • Step 2
  • Meanwhile, soak the raisins in 1/4 cup water for 10 minutes. Add the raisins and walnuts to the carrots, stir, and continue baking for another 10 minutes.
  • Step 3
  • Drizzle the baked carrots with lemon juice and sprinkle with chopped parsley and dill.
