Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup (165 g) margarine
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup premium wheat flour
  • 1 teaspoon of baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 and 3/4 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup dried cranberries
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • Cooking spray
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Preparation:

    Step 1
  • Preheat oven to 180°C. Spray baking sheets with cooking spray.
  • Step 2
  • In a large bowl, combine the margarine and both types of sugar with a mixer on medium speed. Beat in the eggs and vanilla. In a small bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt. Add to the wet mixture and mix until smooth.
  • Step 3
  • Mix with oats, dried cranberries, and walnuts. Drop heaping tablespoons of batter onto prepared baking sheets, spacing them 2 inches apart.
  • Step 4
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool on the baking sheets for 2 minutes. Transfer the cookies to a wire rack to cool completely.
