Hot yogurt sauce:
  • 1/2 cup yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon hot sauce
  • 1 teaspoon chopped fresh mint
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper

Petes:
  • *2 cooked chicken thighs, boneless, meat chopped
  • *1 cup of cooked vegetables
  • 2 pita or lavash breads
  • 3 leaves romaine lettuce

Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.

1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

    Step 1
  • For the spicy yogurt sauce: In a small bowl, combine the yogurt with the hot sauce and mint. Season with salt and pepper and set aside.

    For lavash: In a small skillet, heat the chicken and vegetables thoroughly over low heat. Place the pitas on 2 serving plates. Top with the chicken, vegetables, and lettuce leaves, and drizzle with the yogurt sauce.
