A side dish recipe of boiled broccoli and carrots with lemon juice, flavored with garlic and lemon zest.


Ingredients:

  • 1 small head of broccoli, separated into florets
  • 1 carrot, cut into large slices diagonally
  • 2-3 strips of lemon zest
  • Freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tbsp. l. olive oil
  • Salt and freshly ground pepper
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

    Step 1
  • Boil broccoli and carrot slices in salted water for 3 minutes; drain in a colander.
  • Step 2
  • Heat the garlic and lemon zest in a shallow frying pan over medium heat with olive oil for 3 minutes. Stir in the broccoli, drizzle with lemon juice, and season with salt and pepper.
