This vegetable salad with a mayonnaise-based dressing, which takes just 15 minutes to prepare, consists of broccoli, onions, raisins, and sweet cherry tomatoes.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 1 head of broccoli
  • 6-8 slices finely chopped cooked bacon
  • 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 225 g sharp cheddar cheese, cut into very small pieces
  • 1/2 cup chopped red onion
  • 1/2 cup raisins (optional)
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons of table vinegar
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Tear large leaves from the broccoli stalk. Cut off the tough core and wash the cabbage thoroughly. Separate the head into florets and cut into small pieces. Place in a large bowl. Add bacon bits, onion, raisins, if using, and cheese.

    In a small bowl, combine the remaining dressing ingredients and mix well. Add the dressing to the salad and toss gently.
