If you don't have fresh veggies for your burgers, make them Hawaiian-style with canned pineapple! You can use either pineapple rings or the juice from the can. Mix it with teriyaki sauce and add it directly to the ground turkey. The patties will be juicy and flavorful. Serve them on buns with grilled pineapple.

Ingredients for the recipe:
- 1 can (560 g) of canned pineapple rings
- 0.5 cup teriyaki sauce
- 900 g of ground turkey or chicken
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger root
- 0.5 tbsp. panko breadcrumbs
- 8 whole grain hamburger buns
- 8 slices Cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:
- Drain the pineapple, reserving 0.5 cups of the liquid. Set aside 2 pineapple rings for another use or to eat. Combine the teriyaki sauce and remaining pineapple juice in a small bowl.
- Combine ground meat, ginger, breadcrumbs, and 1/4 cup teriyaki mixture. Form into 8 patties.
- Grill the patties, brushing them with the remaining teriyaki mixture, until golden brown and cooked through. Place the pineapple slices on the grill and grill until charred.
- Serve the patties on buns with cheese and pineapple.
