To make delicious Asian-style chicken wings, bake them in the oven until half-done, then coat them with store-bought teriyaki sauce and cook until done. Teriyaki sauce contains sugar, which caramelizes on the surface of the wings, creating a sticky, savory coating.


Ingredients:

Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Preparation:

    Step 1
  • Preheat oven to 200°C. Melt butter in a baking dish.
  • Step 2
  • Trim the wing tips and discard or set aside for another use. Find the joints and cut the wings in half.
  • Step 3
  • Sprinkle the wings with garlic salt and black pepper. Place on a greased baking sheet and bake until golden brown, about 30-40 minutes.
  • Step 4
  • Drizzle the teriyaki sauce over the wings and toss to coat. Bake for another 20 minutes, turning frequently.
  • Step 5
  • Serve sticky teriyaki wings with blue cheese dip.
