Grilled steak marinated in teriyaki sauce with pineapple - a detailed recipe.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


Steak:

  • 1.4 kg beef tenderloin, cut into 2 cm thick steaks
  • 0.5 l (2 tbsp) soy sauce
  • 1 head of garlic, peeled and coarsely chopped
  • 1 round piece of ginger root, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 1 large onion, thinly sliced ​​into half rings

Pineapple pillow:

  • 1 fresh pineapple
  • 3 tbsp (45 g) butter
  • Chopped green onions for garnish

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. For steaks: In a resealable plastic bag, combine the soy sauce, garlic, ginger, and onion. Remove as much air as possible and marinate the steaks in the refrigerator for at least 8 hours or overnight. Remove the steaks from the marinade and place them on the grill. Grill to your desired temperature, preferably medium-rare.
  2. Pineapple pillow: Core a fresh pineapple and slice it into 0.5 cm (1/4 inch) thick rectangles. Melt 3 tablespoons (45 g) of butter and brush the pineapple pieces. Grill until the pineapple is warm and grill marks appear. Serve topped with grilled beef and garnished with green onions, if desired.
