These delicious wings turn out perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, even though they're baked rather than deep-fried. Keep this easy recipe on hand for when you need a delicious beer snack without the hassle. Toss the baked chicken wings with Buffalo-style Sriracha sauce and serve them with blue cheese sauce for a refreshing twist and a balanced kick.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


Wings

  • 2 kg chicken wings, cut at the joints, discard the tips
  • 0.5 cup cornstarch
  • 220 g (1 cup) unsalted butter, melted
  • 3/4 cup Sriracha sauce
  • Vegetable oil to grease the baking sheets

Dip sauce

  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 60 g crumbled blue cheese
  • 2 tbsp. sour milk or kefir
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh chives
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely grated

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, sour cream, blue cheese, buttermilk, chives, and garlic. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
  2. Preheat oven to 220°C. Generously grease 2 rimmed baking sheets.

  3. Wings:

    In a large bowl, toss the wings with 2 teaspoons of salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste and arrange them evenly in a single layer on two prepared baking sheets. Bake until very crisp, about 55 minutes.
  4. In a large bowl, combine melted butter and Sriracha sauce. Transfer the baked wings to the bowl and toss to coat. Serve with dipping sauce.
