Hot Buffalo wings are one of the most popular beer appetizers. This recipe makes them quick and easy. Chicken wings are fried until crispy and coated with a mixture of melted butter and hot sauce. To serve, simply mix together ranch dressing with blue cheese and cayenne pepper. Dip the hot wings in the blue cheese dressing and enjoy. Celery sticks are a great side dish.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


Hot Buffalo Wings

  • 24 - 26 chicken wings
  • 0.5 cups (110 g) butter
  • 1 cup Sriracha hot sauce
  • Vegetable oil, for deep-frying

Spicy Blue Cheese Dip

  • 220 gr. ranch dressing
  • 1/4 cup crumbled blue cheese
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Trim the wing tips and discard. Cut the remaining chicken wings in half at the joint. Fry the wings in a preheated frying pan with about 2 inches of vegetable oil until cooked through. Pat dry with paper towels.
  2. Melt the butter with hot sauce. Toss the fried wings with the hot butter. Serve with blue cheese sauce or vinaigrette and celery sticks.
