Complexity: easily

The thick, juicy grilled turkey patty gives these burgers their unique flavor. In addition to the ground turkey, it's topped with green onion puree, shallots, and Dijon mustard. Form the mixture into patties and let them chill briefly in the refrigerator to allow the ground turkey to set, making them easier to grill. Serve on buns with a slice of baked tomato and juicy, savory watercress, drizzled with ranch dressing. The combination of all these ingredients will leave no one indifferent!

The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 0.9 kg ground turkey (various meats)
  • 1 cup coarsely chopped fresh chives
  • 2 tbsp. l. olive oil
  • 1/4 cup shallots, finely diced
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp coarse salt
  • 1 red bell pepper, finely diced

  • 1 bunch watercress, washed and stems trimmed
  • 0.5 cups homemade or store-bought ranch dressing
  • Special equipment: 4 large wooden skewers

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:

  1. Place the green onions in a blender jar and add the olive oil. Blend until smooth.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the green onion puree, ground turkey, shallots, mustard, salt, and pepper. Using clean hands, mix everything together until evenly distributed. Form the mixture into 4 large burger patties, place on a tray, and refrigerate.

  3. On a hot grill or in a hot skillet, sear the patties on each side, then reduce the heat or move the patties to the cooler side of the grill and continue cooking for another 10-12 minutes. To check for doneness, pierce the patties with a skewer, press, and watch for clear juices. Alternatively, insert a meat thermometer into the patty. The temperature should read 145°F (65°C).
  4. Cut the buns in half and toast them, then place a patty on each bottom half, a piece of baked tomato, a little watercress, and a drizzle of ranch dressing. Top with the top halves of the buns and pierce with a wooden skewer!
