If you're a Bloody Mary fan, try this version of the famous cocktail, made with vodka and tomato juice, and topped with carrot juice. It's slightly sweeter, but still retains the characteristic piquancy and sharpness imparted by fresh ginger.
The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:
- Crush the ginger slices in the bottom of a shaker. Add a little lemon juice to make it easier to crush. Add all the remaining ingredients.
- Fill a shaker with ice and shake for about 5 seconds. Strain into a tall glass filled with ice and garnish with a cherry tomato and yellow pepper.
