Cashew sauce - detailed recipe.
The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:
Cashew sauce
- 1/2 cup cashew butter, recipe below
- 3/4 cup coconut milk
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- Salt, to taste
Cashew butter
- 2 tablespoons of honey
- 1/3 cup walnut oil
- 300 g (about 2 cups) roasted cashews
- 1/2 tsp salt

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:
- In a medium saucepan, combine the cashew butter, coconut milk, and pepper and place over medium heat. Taste and add salt if desired. Heat until the sauce is heated through.
- Serve the sauce over grilled chicken, pork or rice.
Cashew butter:
Place the honey in a microwave-safe container and microwave for 15 seconds. Remove from the microwave and add the walnut oil to the container. Place the cashews and salt in a food processor and pulse for 5 seconds.
With the processor running, very slowly pour in the honey and butter. Blend until an emulsion forms and the mixture is smooth; this will take approximately 45 seconds to 1 minute. If the paste is too thick and difficult to spread, add a little more butter.
Exit: 1 tbsp.
