The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


For the herbal syrup:

  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1 cup fresh mint
  • 1/2 cup fresh cilantro

  • Jalapeño pepper, lime, salt, sugar

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Prepare the syrup: Combine sugar and water in a saucepan. Place the saucepan on the stove and heat until the sugar dissolves. Remove the saucepan from the stove and let the syrup cool completely.
  2. Add mint and cilantro to the cooled syrup and mix with a hand blender until puree-like, strain.

  3. Decorate the glasses: Rub the rims of four short glasses with jalapeño pepper and lime. Dip the rims first in salt, then in sugar. Fill the glasses with ice.
  4. Prepare cocktails: Combine half the herbal syrup, the juice of one lime, and 1/2 cup of tequila in a shaker. Shake and strain the cocktail into two glasses. Repeat with the remaining ingredients. Top the glasses with ginger beer. Garnish the cocktails with lime wedges.
