Step-by-step recipe for a fruit dessert made with oranges in champagne.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 1/2 cup orange marmalade
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 8 large oranges
  • 1.5 cups champagne or white sparkling wine
  • 1/3 cup toasted almonds
  • A sprig of fresh mint

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Combine the jam and sugar in a small saucepan. Mix well, place over low heat, and cook, stirring, until the sugar dissolves.
  2. Peel the oranges, slice them, and then quarter each piece, removing the white veins from the center. Place in a medium bowl.

  3. Pour the sugar-jam mixture and champagne into the bowl with the oranges. Refrigerate for 8 hours.
  4. Sprinkle with almonds before serving and garnish with a sprig of mint.
