This sparkling drink is made with real orange juice, but before squeezing the oranges, sprinkle them with sugar and grill them until caramelized. The citrus flavor is richer and more intense, complemented by the spicy notes of ground turmeric—a whole new level of orange soda flavor. Dilute the turmeric-infused orange juice with sparkling water, add plenty of ice, and enjoy! Both adults and children will appreciate this delicious homemade soda.

1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

- 5 teaspoons of sugar

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:
- Cut all the oranges in half and sprinkle 1/4 teaspoon of sugar on each.
- Heat a grill pan over medium-high heat and grill the oranges, cut-side down, in several batches until they are a rich, dark brown, 3 to 5 minutes. Let the oranges cool completely.
- Juice the oranges. Mix the turmeric with hot water in a small bowl to dissolve the turmeric. Add to the orange juice and stir.
- Add ice to a glass and fill three-quarters full with turmeric-infused orange juice. Top off the glass with soda water.
