Everyone should have a recipe for a delicious, quick, and easy baked good on hand, perfect for those times when they crave homemade buns. These buns, or scones, are ready in just half an hour using the simplest ingredients. Flour, sugar, baking powder, cold butter, and sour milk or kefir are whipped together in a food processor. The secret to delicious scones is not kneading the dough by hand; this ensures they're fluffy, flaky, and soft. Form the dough into a thick square on the counter and cut it into smaller squares, using a knife that's vertical and not sideways to keep the buns fluffy.
