These rolls take just half an hour to make and are delicious with a topping of hot pepper and melted cheese. To bake, you'll need store-bought French bread dough, rolled into a log, then cut into several pieces, topped with the topping, and baked in the oven. With minimal effort, you'll have delicious baked goods that are also perfect as an accompaniment to entrees.

Melt 2 tbsp (30 g) butter, add half a grated garlic clove and a pinch of pepper. Cut one 330 g package of chilled dough for French bread Divide into 12 pieces; arrange cut-side down on a baking sheet. Brush with garlic butter and top each piece with a piece of pickled jalapeño pepper and a 2-cm cube of Monterey Jack cheese. Bake at 350°F (190°C) until golden brown, 20 minutes.
