Ham and cheese are made for each other. Their combination is incredibly popular for breakfasts and snacks. In this recipe, ham and cheese are used as the filling for quick rolls. Using store-bought pizza dough, the recipe takes just over half an hour. They can be served as an appetizer or for breakfast on a holiday or Sunday morning. Eat the rolls warm and enjoy the gooey cheese.
The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:
- 1 tube (400 g) chilled pizza dough
- 3 tbsp. l. olive oil
- 1 tbsp crushed garlic
- 2 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1.5 tbsp. grated mozzarella, divided
- 350 g thin slices of ham
- 1 large egg

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:
- Preheat oven to 190°C.
- In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic, and Italian seasoning. Roll out the pizza dough on a cutting board. Brush the entire surface with herbed olive oil. Sprinkle with 1 cup of grated cheese, lay an even layer of prosciutto, and then sprinkle with the remaining 1/2 cup of mozzarella.
- Starting at the bottom edge, roll the dough tightly into a log. Using a sharp serrated knife, cut the log in half, then cut each half into 6 pieces. Place the buns on their sides on a non-stick or lightly greased baking sheet.
- In a small bowl, beat the egg with 2 tablespoons of water. Brush the tops and sides of the buns with the beaten egg. Bake until golden brown, 20-25 minutes.
