To quickly assemble a bunch of sandwiches for a large crowd, you'll need dinner rolls, 12 at a time. Make them into a casserole! Cut all the rolls in half at once, add the filling, top with the top half, and bake in the oven. Once the casserole is ready, tear off a sandwich and enjoy!

The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 1 pack of dinner rolls (12 pcs.)
  • 1 tbsp steak seasoning
  • 450 g thin slices of roast beef
  • 220 gr. grated processed cheddar
  • 110 g of grated provolone
  • 1/4 cup chipotle mayonnaise
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 110 g butter, melted
  • 2 tbsp. l. grated onion
  • 2 tbsp. l. grated parmesan
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:

  1. Preheat oven to 175°C.
  2. Cut the stapled buns in half horizontally and place the bottom half in a 22x32cm baking dish. Sprinkle the bread with steak seasoning and pile the roast beef on top. Sprinkle with grated cheddar.

  3. In a medium bowl, combine the provolone, mayonnaise, and green onions. Spread this mixture on the cut sides of the top buns. Place the top buns over the bottom buns.
  4. Combine butter, onion, Parmesan, Worcestershire sauce, and chili in a bowl. Pour the butter mixture over the buns. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  5. Remove the foil and place a ring of pickled pepper on top of each bun. Bake for another 5 minutes to crisp the tops. The sandwiches will be very hot; let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
