3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.

1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Vanilla pudding

  • 0.5 cups of sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 2 cups of milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. In a medium bowl, combine 1/2 cup sugar, 2 tablespoons cornstarch, and 1 teaspoon salt; gradually whisk in 1 cup milk, then beat in 1 large egg. Meanwhile, in a medium saucepan over medium heat, bring another 1 cup milk to a simmer. Remove from the heat and stir in the sugar mixture.
