Even the simplest green salad will look impressive and appetizing when served in crispy cheese bowls. Making these bowls is much easier than you might think. All you need is some Parmesan cheese, a microwave, and a couple of small bowls. Fill the cheese bowls with salad just before serving to help them retain their shape longer. Besides the aesthetic appeal, your guests will enjoy the crispy Parmesan cheese as a snack.

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:
- To make one of these cheese bowls, find two small bowls that fit snugly together. Line a larger plate with a circle of parchment paper. Spread finely grated Parmesan cheese in a thin circle on the parchment, making sure the diameter of the circle is slightly larger than the diameter of the bowls. Microwave until the cheese is completely melted, about 2 minutes.
- Quickly remove the parchment and place it cheese-side up on an inverted bowl; immediately cover with another bowl and let cool for 2 minutes. Remove the top bowl, invert the cheese bowl, and carefully peel off the parchment. Let cool for 30 minutes, then fill with salad.
