These cheese balls make a delicious appetizer. What's more, they're incredibly affordable and easy to make. Simply combine cream cheese with Worcestershire sauce, lemon zest, and your choice of hard cheese, then season with salt and pepper. Form the balls with your hands and let them set in the refrigerator for four hours. Serve with a skewer and a cocktail napkin, or garnish with fun and colorful toppings like slivered almonds, paprika, chopped green onions, or crumbled bacon.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

  • Chives, finely chopped
  • Tarragon, finely chopped
  • Fried bacon, cut into small pieces
  • Ground paprika
  • Almonds, chopped
  • Black sesame seeds

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. In a bowl, combine cream cheese, Worcestershire sauce, lemon zest, hard cheese, salt, and pepper. Using damp hands, form 3-centimeter balls and refrigerate for 4 hours. Then, roll in the various ingredients.
