Sandra Lee's semi-homemade cookie recipe uses a pre-made cookie mix to which she adds sweetened coconut flakes and shredded macadamia nutsSimply spread the dough on a baking sheet, bake, and decorate this sweet treat with melted white chocolate. These cookies are ready in just 30 minutes, making them a wonderful option for quick Sunday baking that the whole family will love.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 1 package (500 g) ready-made sugar cookie mix
  • 1 egg
  • 110 g melted butter
  • 3/4 cup sweet coconut flakes
  • 1/2 cup chopped macadamia nuts
  • 1/2 cup broken white chocolate for decoration

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Preheat oven to 190C.
  2. In a large bowl, combine all ingredients except the white chocolate. Mix until a soft dough forms.

  3. Using a tablespoon, drop the dough onto a greased baking sheet. Bake for 15-16 minutes, until golden brown. Remove from the oven and cool for 1 minute.
  4. Melt the white chocolate in the microwave in 30-second increments, stirring after each microwave-safe cycle. Decorate the cookies with chocolate chips or stripes.
