Trisha Yearwood's light and delicate baked goods are worthy of the highest praise, combining two ingredients that are simply made for each other – white chocolate and vibrant cranberries. A distinctive feature are the macadamia nuts, which provide a delightful crunch in every bite. And best of all, almost anyone can create such beautiful cookies. No need to roll out dough or carefully decorate the cookies; simply "mix, place on a baking sheet, bake" – and voila, stunning results, even if you're a first-time baker.

Preparation:

    Step 1
  • Preheat oven to 180C. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • Step 2
  • Using an electric mixer, beat the butter with both types of sugar until smooth. Add the vanilla extract and eggs and mix well. Sift the flour and baking soda. Gradually fold the flour mixture into the butter mixture. Add the cranberries, white chocolate, and macadamia nuts.
  • Step 3
  • Spoon the dough onto the prepared baking sheets, using a heaping tablespoon (about 2 tablespoons) to scoop out, leaving 5 cm (2 inches) between each cookie. Bake each sheet separately for 12-15 minutes, until golden brown all over. Cool on the baking sheet for about 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely. Store the cookies in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
