The traditional Fallen Angel cocktail is quite tart and tart, making it an acquired taste. But Trisha Yearwood decided to sweeten it up and make it a favorite at your party. You'll still enjoy the notes of lime, mint, and your favorite gin, but the drink is more enjoyable to drink.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


Mint-lime syrup

  • 0.5 cups of sugar
  • 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 1 bunch of fresh mint

Cocktail

  • 0.5 tbsp. dry gin
  • 1 tbsp freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 2 tsp grenadine
  • 4 tbsp. soda
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish
  • Lime wedges for serving

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Mint-lime syrup:

    Place a small saucepan over medium heat. Add sugar, lime juice, and 0.5 cups of water.
  2. Add the mint and simmer until the sugar dissolves, 3-5 minutes. Turn off the heat and let the syrup cool completely, then remove and discard the mint. The syrup can be stored in a tightly sealed container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.

  3. Cocktail:

    Fill 4 Collins glasses with ice to chill. Fill a shaker with ice, then add gin, lime juice, and 1/4 cup mint-lime syrup.
  4. Shake vigorously and strain over ice into chilled glasses. Slowly pour 0.5 teaspoon of grenadine into each cocktail, then top with soda water. Garnish with mint leaves and lime wedges. Serve immediately.
