Butterscotch Shake-up (Iris Shake) - detailed recipe.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 30 g chopped semi-dark chocolate
  • 3 tablespoons heavy cream
  • 400 g slightly melted (until softened) ice cream with boiled condensed milk
  • 1/3 cup dry malted milk (such as Carnation)
  • 60 ml of scotch tape
  • Whipped cream and chopped Toffee Toffee for decoration

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Freeze 2 tall glasses until very cold. In a small microwave-safe bowl, add the chocolate and heavy cream; microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring, until smooth.
  2. Pour the resulting chocolate sauce into the bottom of each glass and drizzle it over the inside of the glass.

  3. In a blender, combine ice cream, malted milk powder, 1 cup ice, and Scotch tape until smooth; pour into prepared glasses. Garnish with whipped cream, toffee bits, and chocolate sauce.
