When searching for new light yet filling salads, consider beans and asparagus—these two vegetables pair beautifully together. Take fresh asparagus and canned lima beans, lightly steam them, and dress them with a little mayonnaise and grated Parmesan cheese.

Whisk together 1/4 cup. mayonnaise, 3 tbsp. grated Parmesan, 0.5 tsp. black pepper and 1 tbsp. water. Trim 0.5 kg. asparagus and cut into pieces. Place it in a steamer.
Add 1 cup of canned lima beans, close the steamer, and cook the vegetables for 3-5 minutes until tender. Then transfer them to a serving platter, season with salt, drizzle with the dressing, and sprinkle with grated Parmesan.
